Directions to fill molds ***Mixing chart below

1) Dip rubber mold into water to get inside wet to allow mix to fill all areas.

2) Place plastic retainer around rubber mold. Then set into foam backer.

3) Mix cement or approved filler to manufacturers specifications. (see our recomendations)

4) After mixing throughly pour into mold.  DO NOT OVER FILL MOLD !

5) Use sticks provided to remove air pockets from small areas like legs,tails and heads etc.

6) Let dry completely befor attempting to remove. Should not be able to dent the mix with finger nail.

7) After mix is dry loosen the rubber around the open end of the mold.

8) Start removing the mold from the smallest end first slowly. Do not over stretch the mold.

9) Continue to work the mold off to the biggest end, usually the head.

10) Once the piece is out clean the mold with water and return it to complete natural shape.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

We recommend using a fast drying cement patcher. Not only does it dry faster the smaller parts will be

stronger and less likely to break. Other benefits drying time greatly reduced to about 3 hours.

The fast dry patching cement can be mixed thinner to lessen air bubbles.

The cost is about .50 to .60 cent per piece. Cement and sand are cheaper if you have the time to wait.

YOU CAN ALSO USE PLASTER OF PARIS AND RESIN AS FILLERS
